About this role

The aim of the BMFTR-funded project ESLIB-Pro is to detect and prevent lithium plating and other critical states during operation. In collaboration with an automotive supplier, approaches based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and charge curves are to be further developed and tested on battery cells and packs. Additionally, the impact of defects on critical states is investigated. Opportunity for a dissertation is given. The tasks are the performance and analysis of measurements on commercial and self-built cells (for controlled introduction of defects), modelling and development of algorithms for the detection of critical states.
