About this role
Development and implementation of laser absorption spectroscopy diagnostics for rotating detonation combustors Investigation of optical access concepts and integration of laser-optical systems into RDC combustion facilities Design, execution, and evaluation of experimental campaigns under a range of operating conditions Development of data acquisition, signal processing, and post-processing tools for quantitative analysis of laser diagnostic measurements Quantitative measurements of H₂O concentration and gas temperature within the combustor Assessment of measurement uncertainties and diagnostic performance in highly transient reacting flows Generation of reference datasets characterizing combustor operating conditions and combustion processes Close collaboration with international project partners at KAUST in the preparation and implementation of advanced multi-parameter diagnostic techniques for RDC applications Support of future experimental campaigns through the provision of baseline measurements, diagnostic infrastructure, and characterization of operating conditions Development and implementation of laser absorption spectroscopy diagnostics for rotating detonation combustors I
